WELCOME TO
THE SWEET HELL WITHIN
PAINT SCRATCH FEVER
"I make heads. The reproduction of features is an almost superficial task and I maintain a minimal allegiance to realism. What I favor is distortion in the brushstroke and a palette of forceful colors to probe the interior. I use acrylic on black gessoed canvas and scratch into human images with a menagerie of objects." - Selene Vasquez
